The required beach volleyball court dimensions for USA Volleyball and NCAA and FIVB and World doubles competition is 16m by 8m (52’6” by 26’3”). USA Volleyball and the NCAA recommended having a free space of 6m (20’) and state that adjacent courts may share free space. If adjacent courts are situated end line to end line, 9m(29’-6”) of free space is recommended.

High school volleyball is played on a court that measures 60 feet x 30 feet. The net itself is 39 inches in height and 32 feet long. High school volleyball courts must follow all official guidelines in regards to court dimensions in order for the court to be considered legal. All lines should be 2 inches wide, with the exception of the center line, which should be 4 inches.
If you’re playing on grass, the measurements are made to the ground and not the top of the grass. The Site: The dimensions of a volleyball court are 29′-6″ wide by 59′-0″ long, measured from the outside edges of the boundary lines. In addition, you should have 10′ (more is even better) clear around the boundaries.

Volleyball courts are regulated at 59’ (18 m) in length with a width of 29.5' (9 m). Attack lines dividing the front and back rows are marked 9’10” (3 m) parallel to the net. Free zones at a minimum of 9’10” (3 m) are required around the entirety of the court with generous clearances up to 16’5” (5 m) on the sides and 21’4” (6.5 m) in the back.
Volleyball Court Dimensions. The overall measurements for a Volleyball court is 60 feet by 30 feet. Each side of the court is therefore 30 feet by 30 feet in size. A center line is marked at the center of the court dividing it equally into 30 feet squares. The attack line is marked 10 feet on each side of the center line of the court.
